A lot of physical manual labor involved with not much help. Very fast paced environment that can be a bit intimidating for someone who knows nothing about paper and believe me there is a lot of different kinds.
We go in grab leads, then we go sit down at our little tables facing the wall and we put our headset on and start calling. Usually a lot of people hangup but that is normal Kelly Paper Company know, some leads we get are old, so a lot of them are disabled, changed companies, or really angry cause one of my other co-workers called them last week. But sometimes you get sweet people that are nice to you. Just relax and you will make a sale. It was some what Paepr of job but in 465th Transportation Company opinion I felt no joy there.
But There was an upside to this job though my co-workers I worked with were the sweetest people I have had the privilege to meet. I worked hard at Kelly Paper for 20 years. Assisting customers with ttheir needs. Not enough compensation for raises. No recognition for work you do. Very bad training. Your experience matters. Help out others considering your employer. Rate your employer. Repetitive work every day. There was little room CCompany advancement. Advancement did not compensate enough. Work environment was just alright. Tiring for the low pay.
Great company to work for. Fast paced, must have a good work ethic and work well with others. Need to have a never ending motor. Overall advancing is slim unless you are willing to move out of state. They will take care of you if you put the work in.
A good starter job. Good hours and benefits are decent. Employers do stay a long time but. Decent schedule. When starting a new position they give you training and then assignments. Growing with the company consists of alot of dedication and willing to move around shifts.
This is a bad company, they promise you a lot, but at the end they back stab you. They laid you off without notice. No raises, worked long hours. No loyalty. This employer just uses its workers. You can exist with the company for 15 years and they still won't promote a person They will have you go to management classes to prepare for an Assistant Manager but the whole time its a make believe Cut throat company i must say. Management prefers to hire individuals with lack of education to justify low wages. Management keeps employees in the dark regarding many aspects of the company, economy, and industry.
